Terms of service
These terms cover the use of AntiqueBossLtd.shop and consumer purchases made directly through the website. The seller and website operator is ANTIQUE BOSS LTD, trading as Antique Boss. Read these terms together with the Shipping Policy, Return and Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy. You can save or print them for your records.

Our online shop offers antique prints and paintings, with the selection described in the current listings. The details of an individual item, including its materials, dimensions, construction, condition and price, are set out in its product listing. These terms are written in English and apply to our direct website orders for delivery within the United Kingdom.
2. Reviewing products before purchase
Please read the whole product description and examine the photographs before ordering. Check measurement units, quantity, any selected options and whether an item is described as new or vintage. If information is unclear or appears inconsistent, contact us before purchasing so we can clarify it.
Antique and pre-owned art can have individual characteristics, including age-related wear and evidence of earlier framing or restoration. Any material wear or other relevant condition information should be described in the listing. A general explanation of natural variation does not override a specific description or excuse a product that is faulty, materially misdescribed or unsuitable for an agreed purpose.
3. Placing an order
Choose the item and any available options, add it to your basket and review the basket before continuing. Enter accurate billing, delivery and contact details, select an available payment method, and check the final total before submitting your order with an obligation to pay.
You can correct errors before submission using the basket and checkout controls. If you notice an error afterwards, contact us promptly with the order reference. We will check whether it can still be corrected at that stage.
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. We accept it when we send an order confirmation accepting the purchase or begin processing the payment for the accepted order, in line with the checkout information supplied to you. A failed payment or temporary bank authorisation alone does not establish that an order has been fulfilled. Keep the confirmation email and contact us if the order status is unclear.
4. Availability and errors
Some products are individual pieces and availability can change. If we cannot supply an ordered item, or discover an error affecting the order, we will contact you and explain the options. We will not impose a higher price or substitute a materially different product without your agreement.
If an order or part of an order cannot be supplied and is cancelled, we will refund the payment for the unsupplied goods. This does not give us a right to disregard a binding contract or remove remedies available under consumer law.
5. Prices, taxes and payment
Our website prices are shown in pounds sterling, GBP (£). Displayed consumer prices include applicable taxes. The order total, including any applicable discount and delivery charge, is shown before you complete the purchase. Standard UK shipping under our Shipping Policy is free, without a minimum purchase threshold.
Choose from the payment methods available for the transaction at checkout. Payment is processed through the relevant payment service. Your bank may perform its own authorisation or security checks. If your account uses a different currency, your provider may apply its own conversion rate or fees.
Any promotion is subject to the conditions displayed with it. A discount does not remove statutory consumer rights. We do not add optional paid extras without your agreement.
6. Delivery
The estimated total UK delivery time is 4–6 business days: 1–2 business days handling plus 3–4 business days transit, Monday to Friday excluding UK bank holidays. The Shipping Policy explains delivery, tracking and how to report a problem. Contact us if the estimate has passed without delivery.
Where we arrange the carrier, responsibility for the goods remains with us until you, or a person you identify to receive them, takes physical possession. Delivery updates do not override your rights if the goods have not actually been received. If a delay affects a delivery date that was essential and agreed, your applicable cancellation and refund rights remain available.
7. Order changes and cancellation
Contact us as soon as possible if you want to change the delivery address, amend an order or stop dispatch. We cannot promise that an order already being dispatched can be intercepted. This does not remove a statutory right to cancel an eligible online purchase after delivery.
For an eligible distance purchase, UK consumers normally have 14 days after receiving goods to notify cancellation and another 14 days to return them. The Return and Refund Policy explains the process and refund rules. A clear cancellation statement is sufficient; you are not required to obtain permission to exercise the right.
8. Our additional 30-day return policy
We accept change-of-mind returns within 30 calendar days from delivery. Please contact us and send the item within that period, in the condition supplied, allowing for reasonable inspection and any age or wear disclosed when sold. Returns are by post to the destination supplied by email. You arrange and pay the postage for a change-of-mind return; we arrange and pay reasonable return costs for faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods. There is no restocking fee. Exchanges are subject to availability. Your statutory rights remain unchanged.
We issue eligible return refunds to the original payment method within 7 calendar days after receiving the goods or evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier, subject to any earlier legal deadline. An inspection does not restart this period. The payment provider may take additional time to credit your account; refund issue and receipt are separate stages. Contact us if you need the refund reference or help tracing a payment.
The 30-day window does not limit all faulty-goods claims. This version applies to orders placed after it is published. Earlier orders keep the terms promised when the order was placed, including any longer return window or free-return promise applicable to that order.
9. Product quality and legal rights
The goods must meet applicable legal standards, including being as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for an agreed purpose. For vintage goods, quality is assessed in light of relevant circumstances, including their description, age and disclosed condition.
If something is wrong, tell us what happened and provide enough information to identify the purchase. The appropriate remedy may be a refund, repair or replacement. We do not impose a seven-day reporting deadline that removes a customer's legal rights, or require original packaging as a universal condition for a remedy.
10. Accounts and website use
If you use a customer account, keep its access credentials confidential and tell us if you suspect misuse. Do not use the website to submit fraudulent orders, distribute malicious code or interfere with other customers' access. These rules do not limit legitimate complaints or the exercise of consumer rights.
Text, photographs, branding and other website content may be protected by intellectual-property rights belonging to us or other rights holders. You may retain information necessary for your personal purchase and records. Do not reproduce content for unrelated commercial use without the relevant permission.
11. Our Etsy shop
We also operate AntiqueBossLtd on Etsy. Etsy transactions have the terms and buyer protections applicable to that purchase. Delivery areas, offers and payment options may differ by sales channel.
Reviews attributed to Etsy describe customers' experiences on Etsy. They are not presented as verified direct-website purchases or as certification by Google or Etsy.
12. Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains handling of personal information. Cookie controls let you manage the optional categories available on the website. Accepting sales terms does not automatically give consent to optional marketing or tracking.
13. Complaints
Email support@AntiqueBossLtd.shop with your order reference, the issue and the resolution you are seeking. We will review the information and explain our proposed response. You may provide additional evidence if you disagree with our assessment.
Nothing in this complaint process prevents you from seeking independent advice, using a payment provider's applicable dispute process or exercising legal remedies. If a complaint remains unresolved, we will provide any dispute-resolution information we are legally required to supply.
14. Liability
We are responsible for losses for which we are liable under applicable law. We do not exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing here removes mandatory rights concerning the quality, description or supply of goods.
You should take reasonable steps to avoid unnecessary loss, and we will do the same when resolving a problem.
15. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without depriving you of mandatory protections or court-access rights available where you live. If one provision cannot lawfully be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply so far as the law allows.
We may update terms for future purchases. Changes do not retrospectively alter the contract for an existing purchase or remove an accrued right. Relevant product information and specific written commitments agreed for your order remain part of the transaction where the law provides.
